We realize that new ideas can come from everywhere in the organization, and we know the next big idea could be yours!The Opportunity The Director of the Field Technology and Operations' Portfolio and Program Management office sets the vision for the Portfolio, Program management, and Business Change Management teams to deliver successful technical solutions to our end users. This role:

  • Sets the vision and operating model on how these teams plan and deliver large global technology solutions
  • Works cross-functionally with our Technical leadership on portfolio prioritization processes and defines how the two organizations intersect to work together
  • Manages resource capacity across Program and Change Management to ensure resources are optimized and key programs are fully staffed
  • Attracts and selects top global talent in the three areas of responsibility
  • Establishes the tools and automation needed for teams to be productive
  • Contributes to development and succession plans of the organization
  • Ensures the team and any cross-functional dependent teams have clarity on goals and priorities
  • Leads through change by inspiring others and encouraging action toward a vision
  • Ensures team accountability for delivery of exceptional customer experiences in the programs we support
  • Looks for new ways to improve our processes and proceduresWhat you'll Do
    • Participate with Senior Managers and other Directors to establish strategic plans and objectives within the portfolio
    • Set direction and guide team members on our Portfolio processes including customer engagement, communications, and quarterly leadership updates
    • Drive and develop standard methodologies across all 3 subject areas to ensure consistency and scalability
    • Make final decisions on operational matters to ensure effective achievement of goals
    • Direct and control the work of a broad functional area through managers and individual contributors
    • Maintain overall control of portfolio planning, PMO staffing, change strategies and program methodology
    • Work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of the company
    • Participate in corporate development of methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for projects, programs and people
    • Ensure portfolio programs are delivered on time and with end user adoption as a key focusWhat you need to succeed
      • Degree in technology or equivalent experience and 10+ years leading Portfolio, Program and Change Management organizations
      • Strong positive presence and communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire senior leaders, including communicating your vision
      • Proven experience in managing a global team and working cross-functionally to ensure success
      • Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills, including a talent for developing multiple approaches to issue resolution
      • Demonstrated record of success in bringing technology programs to launch and driving adoption across end user communities within a large Field organization
      • Proven ability to deliver initiatives that improve team productivity and performance
      • High degree of intellectual curiosity and ability to absorb new concepts quickly
      • Self-motivated and able to operate independently with minimum supervision
