Department Summary:The Manager of Web Content and Optimization at Sling will be charged with leading the group of AEM authors who execute website content authoring, optimization activities, and measurement for Sling.com. This manager will be responsible for maintaining the high performance of this team and expanding the team's involvement in website strategy, performance, and optimization.We are seeking a flexible, passionate, and energetic individual to manage the Website Content and Optimization team. The Website Content and Optimization team is responsible for directly implementing production changes using Adobe Experience Cloud tools. In addition to people management, essential skills for this role are stakeholder management, process improvement, and effective communication.The position gives the right candidate tremendous exposure within the company and the opportunity to understand the complete business systems that make the product that is redefining the Pay TV industry. The Manager of Website Content and Optimization will engage with multiple stakeholders, including Marketing, Product, IT, and all levels of management ranging from mid-level managers to executives. This role is based in Sling TV's Denver-area offices.Job Duties and Responsibilities:Proven ability to lead and develop team membersExtensive exposure to content management systems and a solid understanding of how they workWork closely with Product and eCommerce teams to develop optimized web experiences that deliver business valuePlan, coordinate, and execute changes to website content using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) based on requirements from stakeholdersPlan, coordinate, and execute optimization and personalization activities using Adobe Target to improve customer experience and increase site conversion ratesMeasure performance of optimization activities using Adobe Analytics in support of cross-functional product team experimentationReview content to ensure compliance with platform requirements, brand standards, accessibility standards, and SEO best practicesCollaborate with business owners and key stakeholders to prioritize new website functionality and identify pages that should be updated or improved while ensuring the integrity of existing content is maintainedMonitor and track the progress of platform improvements through the Software Development Lifecycle to ensure we are using the latest platform capabilities and take corrective action to address deviation from requirements during developmentManage and prioritize a workload of multiple projects with a variety of stakeholders from concept to completionRegular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work off regular hours and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.Skills, Experience and Requirements:Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university OR 4 years of relevant work experience OR combination of education and relevant work experience3+ years in website management roles, preferably in the subscription industryExperience with Content Management Systems (e.g. Adobe Experience Manager, WordPress, Squarespace)Experience with A/B testing, personalization, and customer segmentation technologies (e.g. Adobe Target, Optimizely)Experience with Web Analytics tools (e.g. Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics)Experience with content management best practices - planning, execution, rapid publishing, testing, and reportingAbility to take initiative and work on competing priorities in a fast-paced environmentAbility to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to interact effectively with various IT teams and C level executivesAbility to think and execute at both strategic and operational levelsFlexible, innovative and the ability to manage time and priorities in a fast paced, growth-oriented and time-critical environment while being personal and professionalBenefits:From versatile health perks to new career opportunities, check out our benefits on our careers website.Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test.Salary Range: USD $76300.00 - $108000.00 / Year
