We believe when money moves, better things happen.Better requires process, discipline, and simplificationIn this role, you'll be required to manage and oversee large and complex projects within the AML (Anti-Money Laundering) Compliance Department. You'll be a capable leader, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of stakeholders from different groups within Western Union. You will monitor/evaluate project progress, maintain project documentation, develop presentations for communication and drive status calls with various stakeholders across different time zones. You will manage/coordinate activities of a project team, including research, analysis, documentation, design/development of testing, problem resolution, training, status reporting, implementation, and post-rollout review.Education or equivalent experience is required with at least five to seven years' experience managing projects in a complex retail/consumer financial services environment. PMP Certification is a huge plus, as is an understanding of anti-money laundering regulations within the banking/financial services industry. You will have the ability to create change through influence, foster teamwork, and orchestrate teams; demonstrate effective interpersonal skills, the ability to earn the trust of leadership and business partners. You will also have a strong customer-centric viewpoint while possessing knowledge of other business units for possible efficiencies. You'll need a proven track record of moderately complex problem-solving and decision-making, as well as demonstrating strong analytical and excellent communication skills.
