Job Description This is a key management level position, supporting the Project Estimators, Business Development, Business Operations, Clients, Field Operations and Sr Management. The primary role of the position is to manage the project life cycle by creating, implementing, and managing the processes, and tools required to manage projects pre/post award. The position has responsibility for managing, tracking, and reporting approved project budgets, and ensuring the project financial goals are met. Establishing, tracking, and reporting detailed project schedules that meet internal/external commitments. Proactively ensures the resources needed to complete a project are procured and made available at the job site. Proactively communicates with project principles the goals, objectives, expectations, ongoing status, issues, and corrective actions. Job Requirements:Experience

  • 8+ years -experience -as a construction Project Manager.

  • Ability to read and understand construction drawings.
  • Ability to understand and communicate questions pertaining to the blueprints.
  • Ability to understand, interpret and track project financials.
  • Ability to create a work breakdown structure.
  • Ability to effectively buy-out projects with vendors and subcontractors.
  • Ability to draft and manage vendor and subcontractor contracts.
  • Ability to create and maintain detailed project schedules.
  • Ability to apply CPM to project schedules.
  • Ability to organize and manage project resources.
  • Ability to create and maintain project RFIs and submittals.
  • Ability to create and present change orders to project scope.
  • Ability to lead motivate and lead a group of people associated with a project.
  • Ability to facilitate projects using industry standard methodologies.
  • Ability to quickly analyze problems and implement solutions.
  • Ability to organize and maintain large volumes of project documents.
  • Ability to manageable multiple projects and priorities.
  • Ability to set and manage to deadlines.
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally & in writing.
  • Ability to proactively communicate with clients, colleagues, partners, and management.
  • Ability to work collaborative with others.
  • Ability to focus on details and quality.
  • Exceptional verbal & written communication skills, with a solid focus on customer care. Qualifications
  • Must have knowledge and experience with construction methods and construction contracts.
  • Must have strong understanding of the construction project life cycle.
  • Must have knowledge and experience with scheduling and project management software & tools.
  • Must be detail oriented, with strong planning and problem-solving skills.
  • Must have good understanding and experience creating and tracking project financials.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Must have excellent written and oral communication.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Must be able to adapt quickly to change in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have experience creating and presenting information to groups.
  • Must be a self-starter with good analysis & problem-solving skills.
  • Must have extensive experience working in the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must have effective verbal and written communication skills. Bilingual is a plus
  • Ability to pass a drug and background check. Education
  • BS in Construction Management or Engineering.
  • Associates Degree in Construction Management or Engineering with 5 years construction management experience.
