Hotel Manager Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Hotel Manager to oversee operations at our busy hotel. You will coordinate the daily functions throughout the facility. Job duties include scheduling staff to ensure there is enough coverage for each department and special events, developing budgets, streamlining operations to reduce expenses and maximize revenues, and responding to problems that may arise on the grounds. Providing excellent customer service is our top priority, so we expect our Hotel Manager to ensure customers are satisfied with their stay.Hotel Manager Duties and ResponsibilitiesCoordinate front-office activities; resolve guest issues as well as problems among staffRespond to inquiries regarding hotel services, amenities, and policiesInterview and hire applicants for hotel staff positions; train hotel staff; observe and evaluate staff performanceAssign duties and schedule shifts for hotel employeesDevelop and implement policies and procedures to ensure that the hotel facility operates smoothlyInspect the property daily to ensure the facility operates efficiently and within the guidelines of all policies and proceduresParticipate in financial activities and monitor the facility's revenue, including setting room rates, establishing budgets, and allocating funds to departmentsProcure supplies and obtain outside services as necessary, including deliveries, laundry, maintenance, and trash collectionRequirements and QualificationsDegree in hospitality, business, or a related field preferred5+ years of hotel management experienceProficient with Property Management System - Opera preferred - comfortable with multiple property systems Proficient in Microsoft Office and point of sale (POS) software a plus Excellent communication and customer service skillsOutstanding problem-solving skills; capable of making quick yet sound judgments and decisionsBenefits:Sick and Vacation days start from first 60 daysMedical, Dental and Vision at 60 days401k match at 6 monthsRoom and Restaurant DiscountsRTD Ecopass/Free garage parkingCell Phone Stipend PI187921557
