Job Summary Comcast is looking for an experienced Technology Leader
that is interested in making a huge impact on Comcast business! The
ideal candidate will lead a high performing team of AWS data
platform engineers across multiple geographic locations. We want a
key driver managing projects from design to delivery and
operations, including new programs, enhancements, and capabilities
to enable our global strategic data platform that operate at a
truly massive scale. Can we count on you?
We want a leader with demonstrative experience collaborating across
a large enterprise with business stakeholders, architects, product
managers, and engineering teams to solve challenging, high impact
business problems. Provides subject matter guidance to employees,
as required. Develops processes and procedures to drive department
efficiencies and assists in the development and meeting of
departmental budget. Has in-depth experience, knowledge, and skills
in a broad range of AWS services. Acts as a resource for colleagues
with less experience. This position will have the opportunity to
work cross-functionally, and will help shape and influence a more
scalable and sustainable syndicated data lake and data compute
environments spanning across our US and European AWS regions. Core

Design and develop architecture documentation for technical and

team velocity, ensuring consistent delivery of program increments
without sacrificing the work/life balance of your team.
Collaborate with internal and external partners across Comcast to
understand how associated data projects adhere to the broader
customer & employee journey roadmap.
Act as an AWS domain expert and help cultivate knowledge transfers
and system/platform requirements.
Capable of presenting complex topics to audiences consisting of
engineers and senior people leaders.
Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work
nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as

- A driven self-starter that achieves results!Proven experience
building and operating platforms at significant scale.
Expert in Python and proficient in Scala.
Hands-on development with most of the following AWS services:
Lambda, Glue, S3, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, Aurora, Step Functions, API
Gateway, IAM, CloudWatch, Kinesis, Lake Formation, OpenSearch,
EventBridge, Grafana, Networking.
Databricks' experience is a plus.
Versed in AWS cost management and AWS certifications are a
Skilled using Git and implemented CI/CD pipelines.
Comfortable working in a distributed team that operates in highly
dynamic environment applying Agile, Scrum, SAFE methodologies.
Establish and document development and testing best practices.
Assist with cloud-based infrastructure planning and

Recognize weaknesses in our technology and organization, and
