Job Description:

The Finance Analytics Manager will be responsible for leading and automating the finance analysis and reporting processes by administering finance databases and creating data visualizations and dashboards. This key position reports directly to the CFO and is part of JM's larger Data Analytics Team. As a member of the Data Analytics team, the Finance Analytics Manager will steward the development, deployment and full utilization of analytics that support the finance function within the company. Position requires a hands-on manager with business and technical expertise who can work across business and Corporate functions to identify and implement new finance analytics with the goal of automating reporting, forecasting and planning, provide exception and trend analysis, drive adoption of and maintain new tools and moving us forward to insight driven analysis.

Applicants can expect to make between $125,000 to $156,000 upon hire. Pay within this range will vary based upon relevant experience, skills, and education among other factors. In addition, this position is eligible for a target incentive bonus under our variable incentive plan.

This position is eligible for a flexible work arrangement in which, by way of example, an employee's work week may include both some days at the employee's assigned company work location and some workdays performed remotely from the employee's home. The schedule of remote work will be based on business and work needs as determined by management.

Your Day-to-Day:
Create strategies with corporate and business unit finance teams on implementing new data modelling, analytics and presentation technology
Manage financial planning system processes including master data maintenance, monthly load package updates, monitoring of the data load kick-outs, administering work status, creation of the new / maintenance of existing standard templates and system troubleshooting with business finance and IT teams
Develop strategies for analytics and work with process owners to identify and implement projects that support the strategy
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to design, development and implement solutions that are sustained and highly utilized
Manage buy-in from business and corporate stakeholders to ensure project success
Direct effective data visualization techniques to tell the business story
Develop sustainable, fully automated dashboards to help management quickly assess financial health of the business and identify drivers of performance
Manage new projects and build cross-functional teams with corporate / business finance, IT and subject matter experts
Direct process and database changes
Manage single direct report and operate on matrixed team

What You Bring to the Team:
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 12 years of work experience including significant work experience as a data analyst, financial analyst, or similar/related role
Deep understanding of financial concepts and processes with the ability to read, interpret, and evaluate financial reports and data, and identify underlying trends, patterns and relationships
Demonstrated leadership skills
Manages one employee directly
Strong technical skills/mindset, with ability to quickly assimilate and analyze large amounts of information, rapidly learn new business domains, and solve challenging analytic problems across multiple industry and business processes
Strong analysis and problem-solving skills, with ability to distill complex and diverse business problems into simple terms and devise simple and effective solutions (commercial, operational, organizational)
Ability to complete projects to a high level of delivered quality with little oversight
Ability to work with stakeholders to assess information and analytics needs, identify gaps, and lead stakeholder discussions and working sessions to develop and implement value added analytics solutions to improve business processes
Demonstrated experience in handling large datasets, extracting, manipulating, consolidating, cleansing and transforming data from multiple data-sources, and developing insightful presentation formats and visualizations for maximizing the utility of data and analytics in business processes
Ability to discuss business requirements and explain complicated or technical information in clear and simple terms to both technical and non-technical audiences
Advanced to expert level MS Excel skills
Advanced knowledge of data and analytics tools (Excel, Power Query & Power Pivot in Excel, Tableau or Power BI, SQL, MS SharePoint, etc.)
Intermediate technical knowledge of data modelling, database design & development, data mining, and segmentation techniques
Demonstrated ability to learn new tools and technologies in the rapidly evolving world of data analytics
Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (MS Teams, SharePoint, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
High level knowledge of methodologies and processes for managing large-scale database applications and ERP systems with SAP experience a plus
Strong analytical skills and strong written and oral communications skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and accurately disseminate information
