Job Description:

This is NOT a remote position.This position is required to be onsite 2-4 days per week.The position is based in Green Valley Ranch.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:In a small organization, Provides IT support to end-users on a variety of issues:Provides management direction and leadership in several functional IT areas such as application integration, computer operations, networking, technical support, and systems administrationIdentifies, researches, and resolves technical problems - both hardware and software. Responds to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical support. Documents, tracks, and monitors the problem to ensure a timely resolution.Responsible for installation, configuration, administration, and system security of a Microsoft Windows Desktop environment.Management and support on VPN, e-mail, file sharing, application, and/or other systems and servicesInstalls new software releases, system upgrades, evaluates and installs patches to ensure proper systems operations and resolve system issuesResponsible for the backup of data, including automatic backup routines, maintenance of data files and monitoring system configuration to ensure data integrity, testing data integrity, and offsite storage of mediaOversees Asset Management to include Inventory/Audit & Tracking, Asset Administration & Reporting and ensures no copyright and/or license violations.Performs firewall management, wireless network installation, and network health monitoring and recommends LAN policies and standards to meet security needsDocuments, maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware, software, and network systems.Works with the IT Manager and team members in the development of the standards, policy and procedures.Some weekend and after-hour work required.Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:Minimum of 2 years previous IT Management experience-- -overseeing networks, servers and computer systems support.Computer Science/Information Technology or related technical certification with experience including Desktop/Help Desk supportPrevious experience supporting a Microsoft Windows server network environment and IT system administration, including desktop support of Microsoft Office 2010, Office 365, Microsoft Windows 7 and above, and other related technologies.Knowledge and support experience with Windows server in an enterprise environment including server security structures, group policy, active directory services, logon authentication, Windows Internet Naming Service (WINS), dynamic host configuration protocol (DHCP), domain name service (DNS), browsers, TCP/IP, domain Structures, and domain Database Synchronization.Previous experience supporting enterprise applications including MS-Office 365, end-point protection, Anti-spam applications, Backup Systems, firewalls, and other related technologiesKnowledge and understanding of networking concepts associated with connectivity, installation, troubleshooting and fault isolation of LAN/WAN, routing, VPN, Wireless, Cisco Call Manager Phone application and other related technologies in a Cisco & Windows environment.Certification in Cisco networking devices (routers, switches, firewalls, and hubs) preferredStrong desire and ability to work in a team-oriented, customer service environment with excellent communication capabilitiesApplicants for employment in the US must have valid work authorization that does not now and/or will not in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the US.
