Client Success Manager - Retail Analytics, Assortment

On the NielsenIQ Retail Analytics Assortment Client Success team you will work face-to-face with major CPG/FMCG players and use NielsenIQ analytic solutions to help answer questions such as guiding which items make it on shelf and evaluating the effectiveness of current shelf sets. When you join the NielsenIQ team, you're signing up for an experience that requires flexibility, curiosity, and passion. As a Client Success Manager on the Retail Analytics team you will---

  • Build strong partnerships with clients and internal stakeholders, establishing yourself as a trusted advisor to your clients
  • Monitor usage of our tools and create action plans when necessary
  • Provide client training to drive engagement and stickiness with our clients. Ensure our tools are part of their day-to-day business. Clients cannot live without them.
  • Independently complete analyses using NielsenIQ's proprietary tools and secondary data to develop insights that drive client outcomes.
  • Create and implement automated processes that ensure quality and eliminate unnecessarily manual processes
  • Understands client needs and develop scripts to programmatically access data
  • Troubleshoot discrepancies in data and drive to root cause of issue
  • Identify opportunities to collaborate across Nielsen teams and drive sales with clients
  • Lead internal NielsenIQ strategic projects and initiatives
    General Skills
    • Strong logic, deductive reasoning, problem solving and critical thinking skills
    • Skilled & polished communicator, including client presentations
    • Able to synthesize data from multiple sources to drive holistic storytelling and client impact
    • Strong knowledge of statistical approaches
    • Able to maintain positive client relationships in complex situations & resolve client issues
    • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
    • Able to work collaboratively with internal & external teams
    • Strong sense of urgency and accountability to drive client outcomes
      Background and Technical Skills
      • Bachelor's Degree Required
      • 3-5 years' experience
      • Strong analytical aptitude
      • Highly Proficient in Google platforms & Microsoft Office software. Advanced Excel experience preferred.
      • Able to analyze large data sets, utilizing SQL, Python, R, or similar packages
      • 2-4 years of experience with SQL required
      • 2-4 years of experience with RDBMS (e.g. Microsoft SQL Server) required
      • 1-2 years of experience with cloud solutions (e.g. Microsoft Azure, Snowflake) a plus
      • Related industries include: Consumer Packaged Goods, Retail, Consulting, Information, Sales, Analytics
        Position can be remote, in the location of the client, and/or at a Nielsen office location
