About This Position
The Director of Learning & Education reports to the Vice President of RE/MAX Learning & Education, and will be responsible for developing, delivering and maintaining a successful learning program for the RE/MAX Network. RE/MAX Affiliates that are learning-based and consume educational content are more productive and stay longer. The Director will own and enhance the RE/MAX Broker & Agent Development Program. They will be responsible for helping Brokers and Agents develop thriving businesses. This leader will help increase the number of actively engaged learners in the RE/MAX network. A primary focus will be to help drive recruiting, development and retention through learning & educational efforts. Sound good thus far? Keep reading, it gets better! This leader will be core to the strategic planning of how the RE/MAX Network learns across the entire spectrum of learners, from Broker/Owners to Agents to Recruiters to Office Managers to Admins and beyond. We believe that education and the right learning program curated for the individual is vital to long-term success in real estate. The Director will be front and center for our network, delivering the amazing content curated for success. They will be involved in helping the RE/MAX top-producing Agents attain designations, certifications, and other expertise, boosting their credibility and in turn their productivity. This person represents the RE/MAX brand and will have ample opportunity to travel and contribute to the network. Think of it, this could be YOU!
The primary responsibilities for the role include:

  • Driving strategic learning initiatives that promote "RDR", Recruit-Develop-Retain
  • Lead a team of dedicated learning professionals that manage and facilitate the RE/MAX broker & agent development programs
  • Promote adoption of RE/MAX University to all RE/MAX Affiliates, effectively showcasing the value and benefits of learning consumption
  • Lead the Broker 101 & RE/MAX 101 (for Agents) onboarding programs for new RE/MAX Brokers & Agents
  • Create a positive Broker & Agent experience with learning & educational programs
  • Deliver educational content both in-person, virtually and at large-scale events to audiences of all sizes in the RE/MAX network
  • Think & lead strategically, through the development & expansion of learning & education programs that promote agent recruitment & development
  • Develop and produce in-depth, engaging, instructional and educational resources (including live and virtual presentations, handouts, videos, learning tracks and online quizzes)
  • Establish dynamic learning curriculums for the RE/MAX network to be continually educated as we expand offerings and commit to helping them grow their business
  • Partner with stakeholders to help develop content for RE/MAX events, including our annual R4 convention, the Top Agent Retreat, the Broker/Owner Conference & more
  • Ideate new content ideas and strategies for deploying content to the network
  • Learn the RE/MAX University suite of content and understand what the network prefers
  • Conduct needs assessment of franchise owners, agents, and current training resources to identify skills or knowledge gaps needing to be addressed, then fill those gaps
  • Bring education to the network, where people are at, and deliver actionable value with each interaction
  • Understand how to collect and leverage data for productivity & results. Must be able to speak to how data correlates learning/education to productivity & retention
  • Develop professional relationships with the RE/MAX Brokers and Agents, gaining trust to drive positive change and help them create thriving businesses
  • Create effective marketing materials for strategic initiatives and events, driving engagement
  • Track the efficacy of educational content through data analysis and in partnership with our data & business intelligence teams
  • Ideate and share new ideas with the entire team and present suggestions for improvement to the Vice President of the department Are you the type of person who---

      • 5+ years of experience leading people with positivity and drives results
      • Ability to speak confidently to executive-level leadership
      • Understanding and experience with the adult learning theory
      • Strong influencer that can motivate and inspire others to engage in learning
      • Productive with cross-department collaboration
      • Experience measuring efficacy of learning & education
      • Skillset in driving results and adoption through data
      • 3-5+ years in an educational or learning leadership role
      • Experience owning, leading and/or rolling out a Learning Management System
      • Ability to travel up to 10%
      • Experience in learning content writing and development
      • Clear communicator with negotiation skills
      • Real estate industry knowledge or experience
      • Degree in Education, Business, Marketing, Communications or related field (equivalent work experience also acceptable - including real estate experience)
      • 5+ years of experience training/presenting/facilitating in front of 50+ people
      • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft PowerPoint & Excel Bonus Skills
        • Extensive knowledge of the real estate industry
        • Tradeshow & convention experience
        • An eye for creative design or prior experience in a marketing/instructional design function
        • Previous experience creating and maintaining a learning curriculum
        • Ability to work effectively under pressure, stress, deadlines
        • Data analytics that support efficacy of learning programs Location
          This position is for a full-time individual who reports to our corporate headquarters located in Denver, Colorado. $85,000 - $100,000 Actual compensation offered to candidate will be finalized at offer and may be above or below the posted range due to skill level, experience, industry specific knowledge, education/certifications, or geographic location. The offer rate represents one component of the RE/MAX Holdings total compensation package. Employees will also receive a number of benefits as listed below.
