Position Summary: Responsible for fabrication and assembly of
complex compacting tooling and other related production tooling to
supplied prints to satisfy internal customers.
Analyzes, plans, sets up and performs all machine and bench
operations necessary to make, alter or repair complex tools; i.e.
compaction tools, jigs, fixtures, dies, injection molds or gauges
of complex design.
Works from complicated blueprints, diagrams or samples to very
close tolerances (.0002¿ range).
Is proficient at applying the highest degree of craftsmanship and
hand finishing and fitting of tooling; i.e. hand radiusing and
