POSITION SUMMARY We are looking for a Director of Strategic Partnerships to join our growing Strategic Partnerships team. The Director role is a remote position within the United States. This full-time position will be responsible for supporting Velocity Global's key partnerships, sales initiatives and growth goals through executing and improving our strategic alliance strategy. This individual will have direct reports and will report to our Vice President of Strategic Partnerships-- Velocity Global is a high-growth International Professional Employment Organization (PEO) delivering high touch international expansion services to our clients, where collaboration and communication are paramount.     • Manage a team of Strategic Partnerships Managers and Associates who directly impact the growth of Velocity Global's core business by driving and managing influential and channel partner relationships - goal of 40%+ new revenue from Strategic Partnerships 2021
    • Responsible for team's ability to meet and exceed lead and opportunity generating goals, revenue goals, driving accountability, reporting, management and internal processes
    • Work with team to recruit and secure key strategic partners while setting defined short-term and long- term channel strategies--
    • Build and execute on detailed operational plans with partners and hold internal and external teams accountable for pipeline targets and revenue attainment related to partnerships--
    • Conduct reporting and analysis on Strategic Partner channel to identify weaknesses and opportunities, delivering practical, analytical solutions to channel development
    • Negotiate new prospective partnership arrangements, evaluate contract terms, and include relevant stakeholders in structuring corporate relationships - this entails working cross functionally with the legal team to balance the needs of business vs. wants of partner to drive negotiation and ultimate completion of complex partnerships
    • Create and maintain relationships among business partners to develop strategies to increase revenue for their companies while building the brand through marketing and events
    • Manage, train and equip the partnerships team on new tactics, trends and strategic initiatives--
    • Diligently generate and approach new partnership opportunities and re-engage previous partners--
    • Evaluates partner program trends and provides analysis and recommendations to leadership
    • Works toward joint goals, strategies and objectives to build awareness and support of overall benefits of the channel partnerships program with other internal leaders--
    • Short and long-term forecasting and budgeting associated with the partnerships program--
    • Monitors competitor activity and proactively implements strategies to maintain account ownership-- The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by people assigned to this classification. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education/Experience:--
      • 9-12 years of experience in a combination of direct and indirect sales--
      • Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent preferred
      • 3+ years running Strategic Partnerships team. Must have specific experience managing and scaling relationships within influential partnerships and channel sales--
      • Demonstrated success of initiating, launching and scaling partner programs
      • Strong attention to detail and a bias for action - must demonstrate a high sense of urgency and ability to thrive in a fast-paced business environment--
      • Ability to drive and execute at a high-level while learning Velocity Global's core business
      • You should be a collaborative player and visionary leader
      • A consistently creative and forward-thinking mentality
      • Ability to listen, establish relationships, gain consensus, rapidly establish credibility with and gain confidence of multiple areas across the partner channel
      • Ability to assimilate information quickly. We do business across 185+ countries so there is a lot to learn!

      • Anticipated estimated travel up to 40% The salary range is $114,750-$135,000 USD with a commission plan.--The final salary will be commensurate with experience.-- Velocity Global is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
