Job Description:
A national multifamily construction company has an opening for a
Preconstruction Manager / Sr. Estimator to oversee preconstruction
and estimating activities of luxury multifamily and mixed use
projects.Responsibilities:--- Lead design and construction document
phases of the project--- Collaborate with architects, engineers and
other design contacts--- Report to the Director of Pre-Construction
and the Vice President and President of Construction--- Stay up to
date on new technology in the industry--- Develop RFP for
design-build subcontractors--- Assist Project Managers by providing
data and support needed in the underwriting and reporting of
project--- Develop pricing models--- Maintain pricing data--- Other
responsibilities as assignedRequirements:--- Degree in Construction
Management, Engineering, or related discipline--- 8+ years
experience--- Minimum of 4 years as a supervisor overseeing project
preconstruction / estimating
