The Role We have a newly created opportunity for a Content Marketing Manager / Product Marketing Manager to join our growing team in Denver and play a critical role in supporting our continued growth in the United States market. This is a highly varied role that provides the opportunity to build upon the content strategy from the US Marketing plan by creating and managing content from the top to the bottom of the marketing funnel and create assets to address customer needs and complement in-market messaging. This role is best suited to a heavily content-leaning product marketer. Someone who can understand the different buying audiences, verticals, and use cases of our customers, develop strong messaging hierarchies to get cut-through, and pump out content for generating top of the funnel interest as well as bottom of the funnel conversion through external materials and internal sales enablement tools. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Partner with US Marketing leadership to identify and manage persona creation and value propositions and map existing content assets to the buyer's journey, identifying gaps
  • Lead a range of content marketing initiatives to drive leads and customer engagement and traffic, with the aim to deliver sales and customer retention
  • Act as a storyteller by developing compelling content that inspires, educates and engages audiences through the buyer's journey, including the following, but not limited to:
  • Email campaigns (marketing automation)
  • Website (internal and external)
  • Digital campaigns, including, scripting, narrations, advertising and video/webinars
  • PR/media relations
  • Virtual events/speaking opportunities
  • Collateral, including whitepapers, eBooks, case studies and solution briefs
  • Sales enablement tools, including battlecards and competitive guides
  • Social media/influencer marketing
  • Blog curation and contribution
  • Content review and repurpose existing marketing materials to align US requirements, scale output, and adapt to different mediums
  • Collaborate across functions to deliver an effective content marketing strategy and editorial plan to meet business objectives
  • Provide editorial guidance to ensure content remains consistent with MessageMedia branding, including style and tone
  • Drive brand awareness, and brand demand, through the integration of content programs and brand campaigns
  • Partner with global Marketing to manage a content marketing calendar and workflows to create regular content for the US website according to best practices
  • Regular monitoring and analysis of competitor websites and activity to remain competitive and up-to-date with industry best practices and promotions
  • Report on content performance, create content that meets SEO best practices, and maintain an ongoing calendar of content About you
    • A creative and customer-focused marketer who is ready to drive content for demand generation and sales enablement
    • Previous success in content marketing and product marketing, ideally in a B2B SaaS environment
    • Keen to be the voice of "why MessageMedia" for our prospects and customers
    • Enjoy rolling up your sleeves to craft compelling content at scale
    • Ready to present a portfolio of writing samples for a range of content types: blog posts, eBooks, articles, white papers etc.
    • In-depth knowledge of content best practices, tools, and trends
    • Excellent project management, editing and proofreading skills with solid attention to detail
    • Technically savvy, comfortable using software applications (i.e. proficiency in Word & PowerPoint)
    • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and WordPress (CMS) is desirable, but not essential
    • Ability to work well with stakeholders across the business and external customers and agencies
    • Proven organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines
