  • Consults , design s , support s, and manages sales of customer activity involving but not limited to voice, call center, messaging and data solutions products and services throughout the United States with pri mary focus in designated region
  • Manage s , train s , advise s , and motivate s sales associates ( NAM's) to their full potential
  • Direct s ov erall regional selling activity
  • Develop s and maintain s strong relationships with key customers, ability to present to cust omer in-person and on the phone
  • Ensure s strong, effective market share of the products and services by providing direction and information on the products and related services
  • Develop s and maintain s technical competency in all products offered through ConvergeOne including all offerings from represented manufactures as well as the repair, refurbish products and professional services s upplied by ConvergeOne directly
  • Analyze s sales records and trends in relation to objective s and competitive activities; t ake s or recommend s necessary c orrective action to VP of Sales
  • Develops a Business Plan for area of responsibility that is consistent with short-range an d long-range company objectives
  • Prepare s sales forecasts, budgets, quotas, and other p rojections on a monthly basis
  • Keep s VP of Sales informed of economic, customer/competition situations, customer's business issues and interests, and generate a strategy that w ill achieve business objectives
  • Uses partnership programs, work s with customers and their othe r product and service partners
  • Manages reps to be successful with all service offerings fr om all C1 's business partners
  • Maximize s NAM's results through constant feed back and ride joint sales calls
  • Expedite s the resolution of customer problems/complaints
  • Keep s well informed on industry changes, participates where possible in organizations directly involved with our prime markets, and continually works to improve sales techniques and sales knowledge
  • Works independently and as a team member with sales, MASR's, marketing, services, purchasing/invent ory to reach company objectives
  • Keeps advised on company policies, procedures, and objectives, clarifying them with VP of Sales when and if questions arise, and is always prepared to accurately discuss these policies to our customers Qualifications
    • 4-year college degree in Busin ess or equivalent in experience
    • Seven or more years of prior succe ssful direct selling experience
    • Three or more years in a Services/Sales Support manage ment role or related experience
    • Five or more y ears of supervisory experience
    • Proven ability to maintain partnership programs with customer an d their other service providers
    • Strong problem solving, decision -making, and negotiation skills
    • Must be "total" team player and look at the constant "big" picture for success
    • Knowledge of Key, PBX, IP Telep hony, messaging and products
    • Strong presentation, verbal and communication skills
    • Demonstrated sales ability and technical aptitude
    • Proficient with Mi crosoft Word, Excel and Outlook
    • Previous experience working i n a telecommunications industry Additional Information Ability to handle multiple priorities and demands in a fast-paced environment.
