Position Summary The purpose of Enterprise Security and Emergency Management (ESEM) is to direct the daily work activities of a team of security professionals in support of testing and verification of physical and cyber security controls within the company. Establish and maintain processes and procedures around physical security controls testing, "attack & penetration" services, threat hunting activities, control testing activities, and vulnerability and patch management (scanning, driving remediation, and reporting). Develops and conducts tests of systems and physical assets to evaluate compliance with company specifications and requirements by applying principles and methods for cost-effective planning, evaluating, verifying, and validating of technical, functional, and performance characteristics, including interoperability of systems and physical assets. Manage team delivering of standardized products wherever possible, but support of customized solutions where necessary. Support the necessary infrastructure, products, and vendors to deliver the expected services. Drive systemic and/or procedural changes in the environment to drive improved security hygiene and security posture within the company.

• Delivery : Establish and deliver against tactical and short-to-mid term strategic departmental goals to achieve overall ESEM group strategic plans, objectives and goals.
• Talent Development: Recruit, retain, and develop a diverse and high performing team; create an environment of continuous learning and growth development.
• Audit and Compliance: Lead efforts for ensuring department compliance to internal and sector policies and regulatory requirements; driving action plans to any issues, findings, or deviations as applicable
• Industry and Sector Awareness : Stay abreast of industry and sector trends and best practices to advise leadership and direct/peer teams on when to innovate and when to use traditional approaches. Maintain awareness of current and potential threats and risk to the company and sector.
• Strategy and Planning: Develop, propose, and manage short-to-mid-term strategic security plans and roadmaps for assigned products and services
• Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in Technology, Science, Business, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 10+ years of experience in related field/sector, including 7 years experience managing a complex function, team, or program.
• Demonstrated verbal/written communication and presentation skills. Ability to understand complex technical and/or business information.
• Demonstrated ability to work across organization boundaries and influence others. Ability to define and manage multiple internal projects and milestones.
• Ability to both lead and partner in a cross functional team environment. Strong investigative, analysis, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills Preferred Qualifications
  • Subject matter expertise in penetration testing (application, network, physical)
  • Background experience in the operations of a vulnerability management or control testing program
  • Understanding and practical experience with the NIST framework
  • Working knowledge of current and upcoming IT and cyber security related technologies (hardware and software)
