Responsibilities System Vice Presidents are responsible at the enterprise level for IT and Digital Strategy, operations, talent, technical and financial leadership for their function, as assigned by the System Sr. Vice President.
        System Vice Presidents apply advanced management principles with critical impact on technology and the organization.
        Incumbents exercise strategic and visionary thinking having long-term organization-wide application and impact; develop and implement programs critical to CommonSpirit Health; and exercise control and supervision of multiple assigned functions and significant resources that comprises an IT service line critical to the organization and its customers.
        The Vice President of Transformation and Program Office will lead ITD Strategic Initiatives and transformation programs that will enable new business models, products and capabilities to deliver on our remit for CommonSpirit Health. He/she will provide leadership that will transform how we scale and delivery IT Strategic programs with agility and quality. This role will lead the 7 major Portfolios including; Tech and Cyber Risk, Digital Experience, Digital Workplace, Data and Contextual Outcomes, Health Operating System, Talent Transformation and Innovation. This role is critical to delivering at scale our Portfolios and transformation imperatives.
        ESSENTIAL KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
        1. Define, build, develop a high performing and adaptive approach to execution and transformation that builds value for CommonSpirit Health
        2. Lead next generation operating model designed for visibility to work and constraints, customer driven prioritization, adaptive resource management, and continuous execution of value across all Portfolios and Transformation initiatives
        3. Responsible for oversight, management and delivery of all Large Strategic Transformation related activities. Key outcomes include:
        a. Establish centralized point of access operating model to manage swift and savvy Portfolio and Transformation delivery as a single service
        b. Build model for driving dynamic decisions
        c. Drive the transformation to be an engineering and product centered organization which requires senior level expertise and muscle.
        d. Create multidisciplinary product and fusion teams, organizational structures are getting more adaptive, distributed, networked and diverse e. Build and Execute spend analytics & benchmarking
        f. Drive a culture of agility, innovation and collaboration across teams, partners and stakeholders.
        g. Establish customer-centric business collaborations that manages expectations well and provides visibility of demand.
        h. Identify constraints and interdependencies in getting work done through resource, risk and issue
        i. Establish a Portfolio Governance Committee as executive review board accountable for execution and Delivery of New products.
        j. Track performance and customer value metrics to evaluate portfolio health.
        k. Set up an ongoing cadence for collaboration with ITDESC to confirm and challenge the delivery of expected value.
        l. Implement a way to measure value - customer, financial and strategic.
        4. Consistently delivers against agreed investment plans across the enterprise; is responsive and realistic about time/resources to deliver. Applies systematic thinking to identify new solutions. Able to win impact and influence regardless of organization boundaries and relationships. Is personally credible. Maintains confidences.
        5. Develop and Publish CIO level scorecards, status reports, and metrics to the broader organization that provide transparency into the ITD Portfolio and transformation initiatives.
        6. Partner with a variety of teams and groups within CommonSpirit-such as the Senior Leadership Team, Tower Leaders, Governance Members, Program Leaders, and Business Partners to help ensure that the program teams are focused and aligned in the right strategic direction
        7. Provide thought leader obsessed with creating value for CommonSpirit Health, the served communities, and consumers/patients, physicians, employees
        8. Participate in leadership of operating expense reduction initiatives and capital management
        9. Guide, nurture, develop, and mentor an organization of talented and engaged resources
        10. Drive a high-performance culture through people enablement and accountability
        11. Identify and track key operational metrics that clearly demonstrate the year over year transformation by measuring delivered value
        12. Create an environment that fosters innovation and risk taking
        13. Articulate the company's IT and Digital delivery strategy and KPIs to all key stakeholders, including the executive committee, technology vendors, partners and patients through delivery of impactful presentations and communications
        14. Drive excellence and best practices in Agile and multi-delivery methodologies.
        15. Develop strategic pathway, teams and process to transform the ITD organization from project to product mindset
        16. Create, publish, and track standardized Project / Program Management artifacts in collaboration with the ITD and PM community to identify ways in elevating overall ITD delivery #CHI-LI Qualifications Leadership of a sizable team of multi-disciplinary teams
        • -15+ years' experience managing large teams
        • History of building high performing teams working on multiple projects across different technology stacks
        • Have effectively built diverse teams, ensuring a wide variety of perspectives are heard
        • Ability to successfully navigate change and coach employees through transition In depth knowledge of program, agile and product delivery:
          • Infrastructure
          • Digital
          • Software
          • Data
          • Supporting products Strong communication skills, verbally and in writing:
            • Partnership style with both business and other technical teams
            • Ability to describe current problems and solutions in clear terms and with a business perspective

              • Highly organized and structured with a meticulous attention to detail; can look at the big picture and connect to the details, iterate, recursive as needed
              • High level of personal integrity and maturity and holds him/herself and others to the highest possible standards
