it begins. Customer Unit Regional Carriers is helping to provide
world-class technologies and services to rural customers across
America, and we need your expertise! In this multi-layered role,
you will be encouraged to work as a Customer Solutions Sales
Director to drive opportunities as a Core 3--CSR (Customer
Solutions Responsible) across the Ericsson portfolio to execute on
Customer Units tactical and critical initiatives. You Will:
- Be a key representative for Ericsson towards several new
customers who will be replacing their wireless networks with
Ericsson equipment.--
- Required to provide thought leadership and solution
accountability for the customer-centric offerings.--
- Work to drive new business opportunities, build compelling &
competitive offers, and progress large strategic key deals to
closure.--
- Responsible for technical expertise across the entire Ericsson
portfolio--including product and services offerings in Networks,
Digital Services, and Managed Services.--
- Provide solutions excellence during rip and replace of
competitor equipment.
- Proactively seek customer challenges and identify how we
address them in advance of these materializing.
- Initiate & drive customer dialog building on existing business;
critical driver in customer knowledge transfer sessions
- Build positive relationships with key customer decision-makers
and influencers, Ericsson account management teams, Ericsson
business units, third party partners, and other key relevant
parties.
- Collaborate with Key Account Manager to grow the customer
business.
- Communicate the customer visions, strategies & requirements
within Ericsson.
- Evaluate Ericsson--s strategy & plans vs. customer strategic
plans.
- Secure understanding of local market dynamics & landscape.
- Generate sales by positioning Ericsson as the best technology
offering.
- Assure customer awareness for implications of technology
trends.
- Identify market requirements in accordance with customer's
requirements and feedback; identify strategic market requirements;
Influence roadmap development.
- Guide the development & delivery of customer presentations with
support from the extended team. To be successful in this role, you
must have:
- 10 years of relevant ICT experience including relationship
sales, product management, or consulting
- Minimum 5 years in leadership positions
- Commitment to long-term engagement & proving Ericsson
credibility with our customers
- Sound customer engagement skills - balance customer closeness
with Ericsson business objectives--

- Robust presentation and communication skills
- Persistent negotiation and argumentation skills

Reporting to-- VP Chief Technology Officer Pay Range: $152,000 to
$190,000 You will be eligible to participate in Ericsson's Sales
Incentive Plan (SIP) for this position. Actual payouts are
determined based on the performance of the business against the
unit's business objectives, individual performance, and the
individual SIP target. Certain eligibility and pro-ration rules may
apply based upon the hire date. Benefits: Ericsson offers excellent

including a High Deductible Health Plan with no premiums for
employees and dependents, free dental coverage, employee-paid
vision coverage, 401(k) plan with a 3% automatic company
contribution and up to 4% company match, company-paid life and

vacation, 3 personal days, 11 paid holidays, and 10 sick days (paid
time off is pro-rated in the year of start). Ericsson also provides
up to 16 weeks maternity and medical leave at 100% of pay and 6
