Job Description:

The Vice President of Sales primary responsibility is to establish new relationships and promote the company value proposition to targeted financial institutions and other verticals that have a need for payment innovation in their respective territories with the objective of securing "win-win" contractual relationships for company products and services. The VP Sales divides his/her time as follows: 90% - prospecting, promoting, and contracting company products and services; 10% - administrative responsibilities. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS-- Meet or exceed new business sales quota in assigned territory-- Hunt new business and promote company products and services-- Engage with decision-makers, collapse sales cycles, and close deals-- Procure, schedule, and conduct compelling face-to-face sales calls-- Build and maintain pipeline of new business at established standards-- Work collaboratively with other company departments to achieve desired results-- Maintain accurate CRM system hygiene, including updating activities and account statusPOSITION REQUIREMENTS5+ years successful "above quota" technology sales (SaaS and Professional Services) experience'Presidents Club' or equivalent desiredFinTech experience a plus, but not requiredDemonstrated success and experience with:Generating trusting and leverage-able relationships with C-level executivesDiscovering buyer motivations and implementing "best action" account plansHunting new Financial Institutions, FinTech, Workforce Management, Insurance, and other verticals that have a need for payment innovation.Networking with, establishing, and leveraging new and existing strategic alliance partner relationshipsDelivering strategic, creative, and compelling presentations for retail banking solutionsProven individual traits and abilities that include:Engaging, persuasive public speaking in formal group or individual settingsIndividual independence, self-motivation, and strong work ethicCompelling presentation, negotiation, and empathic listening skillsAdaptability, creativity, a team orientation, and an entrepreneurial spiritMust be legally allowed to work in the U.S.Must be open to 70%+ travelPure Hunter role with uncapped commissions
