Centennial Peaks is seeking a dynamic and talented Chief Nursing
Officer (CNO) or Director of Nursing (DON); dependent on skill set
and experience of new hire.
Centennial Peaks Hospital is a 104 bed hospital located in
beautiful Louisville, CO. We are dedicated to providing a full
range of mental health and chemical dependency services to the
state of Colorado. We strive to enhance the mental health, safety
and well-being of our patients, their families, and the community
at large by providing ethical, compassionate, medically and
psychologically integrated inpatient and intensive outpatient
treatment for psychiatric and addiction disorders. The ability to
multi-task and thrive in a fast paced environment is critical.
The CNO/DON has 24 hour a day seven day a week responsibility for
treatment services provided for inpatient programs. The CNO/DON
promotes patient care consistent with the philosophy and objectives
of Centennial Peaks Hospital and the ANA Standards of Practice for
Psychiatric Mental Health Care.
EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited nursing program. MSN
preferred, Masters level education required.
EXPERIENCE: Prefer 10 years clinical experience with a psychiatric
mental health population, 5 years previous clinical supervisory
role in an inpatient psychiatric setting and administrative/
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: Licensure and registration by the Colorado
Division of Regulatory Agencies as a registered nurse, American
Nursing Association Psychiatric Mental Health Certificate
KNOWLEDGE: Prefer knowledge of general and psychiatric nursing
principles, working concepts and theory, leadership skills, age
specific growth and development, limit setting, crisis and behavior
SUPERVISION RECEIVED: CEO
SUPERVISION EXERCISED: House Supervisors, Charge Nurses, Registered
Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and MHTs.
