permitting, remediation, and site characterization to chemical data

cost-effective solutions.Step into Your New RoleKleinfelder is
seeking a mid-level Environmental Scientist/Permitting Professional
to join our Environmental Planning and Permitting (EP&P) Team
in Denver.Under the supervision of senior level staff, the
successful candidate will be a self-starter who will provide
technical permitting and project support for a variety of projects
primarily in the energy sector (power, oil & gas, and solar). The
work will involve a combination of office and field work and will
include providing permitting and environmental compliance research
and support including developing permit applications on behalf of
clients. The position requires strong collaboration skills, task
management progressing toward project management, and client
engagement in support of our Clients in the Rocky Mountains. Some
limited travel within this region will be required for this
position. Kleinfelder offers a hybrid in office/remote work
environment.The ideal candidate should demonstrate:
- At least three years of experience in environmental consulting,
including reporting, environmental regulation review and research,
and permit compliance and coordination.
- Ability to prepare technical documents, perform calculations,
and conduct analyses;
- Possess excellent technical writing and verbal communication
skills;
- Excellent planning and organizational skills with strong
problem solving abilities and analytical skills;
- Demonstrate knowledge working with state and federal
regulations for compliance under:
- Clean Air Act (CAA)
- Federal/State/floodplain regulations
- National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permits
a plus
- National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) a plus
- Ability to conduct work year-round in adverse climate and field
conditions;
- Ability to prioritize effort and effectively be engaged on
multiple projects at one timeAll candidates require:
- BS in an Environmental Engineering or Similar
- 3-6 years of experience
- Ability to work flexible work schedules and availability to
meet priority deadlines outside of normal working hours;
- Ability to travel with short notice up to 40 percent for field
work, client meetings, agency coordination activities, etc.;
- A valid driver's license;This position provides a great

expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance
with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act. Final agreed upon
compensation is based upon individual qualifications and
experience.Salary range: $65,000 - $86,000. We will be accepting
