Job Description:

Description: Duties/Responsibilities: --- Designs electronic circuitry for various industries including instrumentation, commercial, industrial and medical products --- Performs design analysis, component selection, schematic capture and PCB layout --- May identify customer requirements, analyzes data to determine feasibility of product proposal --- Reads and interprets design specifications and technical drawings --- May communicate directly with customer contacts, typically with management oversight --- Provides updates to project management on schedule and task status for electrical portion of the design/development project(s) --- Works with other engineering disciplines to successfully integrate hardware, software, and mechanical designs --- Interfaces with manufacturing, sales, purchasing and vendors --- Creates prototype and released product documentation --- Designs, builds and tests prototypes --- Designs and fabricates prototype test and assembly fixtures --- Specifies electrical test and assembly procedures --- Resolves performance issues and defects resulting from verification testing, EMC and/or environmental testing at system level --- Completes design specifications, hazard analysis and fixture/testing requirements for subsystem electronics --- Directs technicians and/or other engineers as required to leverage productivity Skills: Must Have: EMI/EMC testing experience Analog Design experience Additional Skills & Qualifications: Experience with signal analysis, sustaining, digital microprocessor, wifi or Bluetooth, oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectra analyzers Experience Level: Intermediate Level
