Job Summary: The Test Systems Product Team (TSPT) Directorate is a
multi-discipline organization responsible for developing test
solutions for all Raytheon Missile Defense (RMD) products. We are
hands-on, designing with the latest technology and tools, and
integrate state of the art test solutions with the most advanced
engineering systems in the world. TSPT products are located in
engineering labs, in the field, and in production environments
utilized for weapon system product verification, qualification,
test data analysis, and production test solution development. TSPT
has job opportunities across all phases of the engineering
lifecycle, including demonstrations, early engineering tests,
design verification tests, production, and sustainment.TSPT is
looking for Mechanical Engineers to be responsible for designing,
developing, documenting, and maintaining complex test environment
systems for all Raytheon Missiles & Defense (RMD) products.We value

to hear from you.Responsibilities to Anticipate:
- Researches, plans, designs and develops mechanical test systems
in areas including, but not limited to, vibration, thermal,
hydraulic, radio frequency, and electro-optical for production
testing environments
- Integrates and validates test systems against stringent
accuracy and reliability requirements
- Evaluate production installations and recommend design
modifications to eliminate malfunctions Qualifications You Must
Have :
- Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology,
Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum two (2) years of
work experience
- Minimum of two (2) years of technical / engineering experience
in mechanical design and/or production support
- Minimum of two (2) years' experience with CAD solid modeling
tools and analysis tools with an emphasis on ProE / CREO
Parametric
- Experience with geometric dimensioning and tolerance
analysis
- Experience creating mechanical drawing packages
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued
security clearance is required. U.S. Citizenship is required, as
only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Value :
- Master's Degree (MS) preferred in a STEM discipline
- Design experience with mechanical and electronic packaging
- Experience with creating complex design drawing packages
- Experience with Configuration Management processes,
application, and tools (e.g., Windchill / cPDM)
- Experience in Model Based Engineering or Model Based
Design
- Experience in mechanical sub-systems packaging, materials,
thermal analysis, structural analysis, control systems, electrical
hardware design, or large assembly development
- Experience with environmental stress screening of hardware
(e.g., vibration, shock, thermal, etc.)
