location.Description:Lockheed Martin is seeking an experienced and
driven Senior Project Engineer to join the Conventional Prompt
Strike (CPS) Platform Integration Integrated Product Team (IPT). In
this role you will join a growing team responsible for integrating
the CPS Weapon System onto target Navy platforms. This position is
responsible for planning and organization of the team's technical
development tasking, coordinating formal and informal reviews, and
representing CPS Platform Integration at program wide management
activities. Additionally, this role plays a key part in the
program's risk and opportunity management process helping to drive
effectiveness of risk and opportunity management within the
Platform Integration team.As the Platform Integration Senior
Project Engineer, you will:--- Facilitate formal and informal
Integrated Product Team (IPT) reviews with government customers and
industry partners, including setting agenda, coordinating inputs,
running the review, and tracking action items to closure.---
Coordinate activities related to technical development, scheduling,
and resolution of high priority platform integration and test
topics.--- Ensure that tasks are completed on schedule following
established procedures, schedules, and work plans.--- Lead Platform
Integration risk and opportunity management.--- Develop proposals,
support negotiations, and plan new tasks after contract award.---
Participate in government working groups resolving formal
information and data requests between organizations.--- Frequent
cross-organization and customer interface to support the fast-paced
integration, test, and delivery schedule.Basic Qualifications:---
Demonstrated ability to work with technical leads to manage cost,
schedule, and technical scope.--- Prior Experience in the areas of
Coordinating, planning, organization, control, and integration ---
U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain DoD Secret level
clearanceDesired Skills:--- Knowledge of Navy Strategic Systems
Programs (SSP) processes and procedures.--- Experience with project
management and integrated schedule development.
