Martin/Martin is currently seeking a motivated Civil Engineer to
join our Lakewood, Colorado office. The position will provide
opportunities for civil design throughout the Front Range of
Colorado and the Rocky Mountain Region in markets which include but
are not limited to transportation, waste/wastewater, site
development, municipal, and federal projects. We are client focused

Duties and Responsibilities Include:
The following duties are illustrative only and are not intended to
be all-inclusive.
Manages engineering and technician staff to complete projects.
Completes thorough project documentation including narratives,
reports, calculations, and drawings.
Develops, monitors, and manages project work plans, schedules, and
design budgets.
Develops and maintains client relationships through project
work.
Develops and implements project specific QA/QC plans.
Serves as the primary point-of-contact with clients and contractors
for their projects throughout design and construction.
Acts as a mentor and resource for less-experienced staff and
assists with their career development.
Participates in internal production and technical committees or
other special projects to advance the company's production
tools.
Coordinates our work in-house and with other project team
firms.
Manages engineering and CAD staff to complete projects assigned to
them.
Requirements:
Required Qualifications:
More than four years of progressive Civil Engineering
experience
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field
Marketing and business development experience
Experience in team leadership and managing and mentoring junior
staff
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Self-motivated and able to work independently for extended periods
of time
Strong written, technical and interpersonal skills
Experience in managing multiple clients simultaneously
Demonstrated success working on multi-disciplinary engineering
projects
Committed to client service and a team-based approach
Presentation Skills
Registered PE license in the State of Colorado or ability to obtain
one within 3 months
Desired Qualifications:
Experience using AutoCAD/Civil3D and/or micro station/inroads to
produce civil construction documents
Strong knowledge of site entitlement processes of jurisdictions
within the greater Denver Metropolitan area
Experience managing projects including production engineers and CAD
personnel
COVID-19 full vaccination (as defined by the CDC) is required for
