Job Description:
This role is located in Denver and requires someone within the
Colorado market, however, we are offering relocation for the right
candidate. Do you have a big picture understanding of technical
solutions and a deep knowledge of cloud native architectures? Are
you a highly collaborative person? We are looking for a Principal
Cloud Consultant with a knack for setting best-in-class practices
across the organization. You will be a key player in the technical
& strategic architecture across our enterprise clients and internal
consulting group. Leveraging your technical experience and
expertise, you will be able to impact and influence a number of
large organizations with their adoption of emerging & established
cloud technologies along with embracing a modern DevOps
culture.While our Principal Consultants will generally be involved
in more technical architecture and strategy you will also be
comfortable 'rolling up the sleeves' and getting 'on the tools' to
help with the technical delivery of our Cloud and DevOps
projects.What we'll expect from you:In this role, you'll be a
Kenzan representative to current and prospective clients and a
knowledgeable technical advocate for cloud native architectures.
The person in this role:Develops and maintains executive-level
client relationships and is accountable for overall technical
delivery of Kenzan services for a given clientUnderstands
thoroughly how all client systems interact and consults on the
implications of architectural choices and standards on performance,
security, regulatory requirements, and maintainability across
projectsCommunicates across departments regarding account status
and keeps close and regular communication with key stakeholders
across all groups at KenzanActs as a primary escalation contact for
high priority and high profile client issues, coordinates with
program and account leadership to address and effectively guide all
stakeholders towards the best possible resolutionContributes to the
pre-sales pipeline, including Statement of Work (SOW) creation,
contract reviews, Level of Effort (LOE) estimates, budgets,
forecasts, reports, and billingCommunicates thoughtfully with the
client, delivering recommendations based on experience, combining
the practical with strategic insight, and framing the approach,
technology, solution, and pricing in a way that makes sense to the
clientFocuses on teams and the dynamics around them, and is
people-oriented, but also well versed in technologyMentors
engineers working on projectsSome qualifications we are looking
for:Significant experience and expertise in large-scale,
distributed, secure, and high availability solutions in AWS, GCP
and/or AzureDeep technical knowledge and experience in microservice
engineering, Kubernetes, distributed systems, domain driven design
and enterprise software design patternsDeep technical knowledge of
DevOps, Scripting, CI/CD, Network design and Security.Demonstrated
ability to translate business outcomes into recommended solutions
and to clearly articulate your position on the topic which
influence significant decisions either internally or to a
clientExtensive experience building and managing executive-level
relationshipsExperience leading a client engineering team and
providing relationship management, high-level project/program
oversight, budget, finance, resourcing & engineering supportA
bachelor's degree in a related area (a Master's degree is a strong
plus) or equivalent experienceAbility to act as a leader / coach
and engage multiple teams to formulate, present, and communicate a
unified project vision for client goalsYou create trust and operate
with humility; you move with urgency and focus and take
responsibility seriouslyStrong facilitation, planning,
coordination, and estimation skills with demonstrated experience
leading technical scoping, design, & planning sessions across
geographically dispersed teamsExcellent verbal, presentation and
written communication skills including creating usable
documentation and toolsAbility to travel occasionally within the US
