Martin/Martin, Inc. is looking for an entry-level structural
engineer to join our Structural Engineering Group in our Lakewood,
Colorado office. This entry-level structural engineer will have the
opportunity to work on a broad range of project types with many
different structural materials. This position will provide
opportunities to gain experience in both new building structural
design and existing building investigations and retrofits. A
typical work week can include engineering calculations, drawing
development, Construction Administration tasks, and site visits.
This position allows for interactions with owners, architects, and
contractors early in your career as you build relationships
throughout the project life cycle. While many of our projects are
located in the Rocky Mountain region, Martin/Martin's national
footprint provides opportunities to work on projects around the

on the west side of Denver allowing for quick access to both the

Responsibilities Include: The following duties are illustrative
only and are not intended to be all inclusive.
- Utilize computer design and graphics software to complete
project Construction Documents.
- Study and apply building code, material code and/or
jurisdictional requirements to complete project design calculations
under the supervision of the Project Manager.
- Assist Project Manager in Construction Administration,
including checking of submittals, responding to RFIs, and
conducting field observations.
- Communicate and coordinate project design with clients, other
team consultants, and contractors. Requirements:
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an engineering curriculum
in Architectural, Civil, Structural, or related engineering
field.
- Has passed FE Examination
- 0-4 years' experience Desired Qualifications:
- Master's degree in engineering from an engineering curriculum
in Architectural, Civil, Structural, or related engineering
field.
- Bachelor's degree received from an institution with ABET
accreditation in field of study.
- GPA of 3.5 or higher
- Working knowledge of building and material design codes
- Experience using computer design and graphics software for
building structural design and documentation (AutoDesk REVIT, RAM,
SAP, ETABS, RISA, etc.)
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong written and interpersonal communication skills with a
commitment to client service and a team-based approach
- Construction field experience COVID-19 full vaccination (as
defined by the CDC) is required for new employees. Proof of
vaccination (or a request for medical/religious exemption) shall be
provided to HR one week prior to negotiated start date. Applicants
