• Long Term role with opportunity to advance within CompanyDescription:We are seeking an Engineering Technician with an Associate's degree in a related field of study and at least 4 years of relevant experience. The right candidate will have strong drilling experience, familiarity with CAD software, soldering experience, and strong GD&T knowledge. What to look forward to:As an Engineering Technician, you will be using your skills and expertise to perform a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electro-mechanical, and/or optical areas. You'll be responsible for constructing, troubleshooting, calibrating, testing, and maintaining our equipment, components, devices, or systems. You'll ensure our systems and components meet established specifications.Skills:Drilling, Mechanical, Satellite, Soldering, Assembly, GD&T, Aerospace, Technician, Spacecraft, Aircraft, Electrical, Electronics, SchematicTop Skills Details:Drilling experience, Soldering, CAD experience, GD&T or Geometric Dimensioning and TolerancingAdditional Skills & Qualifications:Must-haves:- At least 4 years of relevant experience- A higher level degree may substitute for experience- Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education- Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings, diagrams, schematics and manuals- Ability to work with standard laboratory test equipment, other measurement equipment, hand tools, and power toolsPreferred:- Previous experience and/or certifications within the aerospace and defense industry- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment- Experience with AutoCAD or other 3-D CAD softwarePreferred:Previous experience and/or certifications within the aerospace and defense industryPrevious experience in a manufacturing environmentExperience with AutoCAD or other 3-D CAD softwareLocation: Louisville, COPay: 27-34 an hour About Aerotek:We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
