Please review the job details below.Maxar is currently seeking an AWS Support Engineer to join our team in Westminster, CO or Charlottesville, VA. In this role, you will be the first person that development teams will look to when seeking support. You will support systems that do everything from flying satellites to powering supercomputers that model the Earth. As a key member of our team, you will work with development teams to solve critical issues while providing the highest levels of customer service. This role will provide the training and opportunity to grow into a cloud engineer that will play a central role in building and supporting our services within AWS using modernized build and deployment tools. Responsibilities:

• Provide tier 1 support to our AWS development teams
• Support technical AWS products that are used by development teams and analysts
• Collaborate with development teams across the entire company to troubleshoot and support their AWS environment
• Give guidance on corporate best practices and policies
• Capture and represent the requirements of the customer so that our developers canMinimum Requirements:
  • Must be a or permanent resident
  • Bachelor's degree in related field. Four additional years of experience may be substituted for a degree
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with software engineering or systems administration
  • Minimum of 1 year of current AWS experience to include services like EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, and AWS CLI Preferred Qualifications:
    • Experience with CI/CD tools
    • Understanding of git branch and release patterns
    • Experience operating in a customer facing role
    • Ability to build Docker containers and docker compose environments
    • Development experience in Terraform or CloudFormation
    • Experience working in a 24/7 environment
    • Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools
    • Experience working in an agile paradigm
    • Understand concepts of
