Job Description:

The GNSS Signal Processing Engineer will be responsible for developing and implementing new signal processing algorithms on an FPGA based platform.- The person will be working effectively in the development team with other international experts, and demonstrating a set of fundamental engineering skills that result in predictability in engineering, scheduling and the quality of products developed.-


Key Responsibilities:

  Design and implement low level GNSS signal processing algorithms in an FPGA environment
  
  
• 
  Investigate and develop multipath and interference mitigation algorithms
  
  
• 
  Optimize algorithms for speed and power consumption
  
  
• 
  Assist in RF antenna and front end specification and design
  
  
• 
  Contribute to existing signal processing development and maintenance
  
  
• 
  Work in an international team and cooperate with people across the world.
  
  
• 
  Clearly document and communicate newly designed algorithms to accurately describe the technical details
  
  
  
  Skills & Experience Required:
  
  
  • 
    
  • 
    BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field with 5+ years' experience.- M.Sc. or Ph.D. preferred.
    
    
  • 
    Deep knowledge and understanding of low level GNSS signal processing including correlation, signal acquisition and tracking, and multipath mitigation
    
    
  • 
    Experience with tracking all GNSS signal structures and the various design trade-offs
    
    
  • 
    Understanding of RF front end design and filtering
    
    
  • 
    Expertise with Xilinx FPGA development and optimization of 7000 series and Ultrascale devices using Vivado
    
    
  • 
    Proficiency in digital design techniques with VHDL/Verilog
    
    
  • 
    Knowledge of Matlab
    
    
  • 
    Work well with various international engineering groups such as firmware, hardware, RF, QA and product management
    
    Code in C/C++
    Matlab knowledge
    VHDL/Verilog/Xilinx Ultrascale preferred-
    GNSS/Software Defined Radio experience.-
