Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a school
setting located in Larkspur, Colorado. This contract role involves
working 37.5 hours per week during the normal school year,
supporting students across grades K through 8 with a primary focus
on elementary grades. Responsibilities include conducting speech
and language evaluations, developing Individualized Education
Programs (IEPs), and implementing tailored therapy sessions to meet
the diverse needs of a caseload of approximately 40 students. The
ideal candidate will collaborate with educators and families to
promote effective communication skills, ensuring students achieve
optimal educational outcomes. Qualifications and desired
experience: - Valid state licensure or certification as a
Speech-Language Pathologist - Experience working within schools,
particularly with elementary-aged children - Strong knowledge of
speech and language disorders and corresponding interventions -
Ability to manage a caseload of 40 students effectively - Excellent
communication and collaboration skills with educators, parents, and
students - Familiarity with school-based documentation and IEP
