Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.
Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be
considered. A full-time special education teacher position is
available in Manitou Springs, CO, supporting a junior high school.
This contract role begins ASAP and continues through the end of the
school year. The teacher will manage a caseload of 25 students,
providing tailored instruction and support. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized instruction and accommodations to students
with special needs. Develop and implement IEPs (Individualized
Education Programs) in collaboration with school staff and
families. Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies
accordingly. Work closely with general education teachers to
support inclusive practices. Maintain accurate records and
communicate effectively with parents and school personnel. Desired
Experience and Qualifications: Valid Special Education teaching
certification. Experience working with junior high level students.
Ability to manage a moderate caseload effectively. Strong
organizational and communication skills. Commitment to fostering a
supportive and inclusive learning environment. Location: Manitou
Springs, CO Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM
Contract length: ASAP start through end of school year. This
