Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. A full-time Special Education Teacher position is
available to support junior high and high school students with
autism. This role focuses on delivering specialized instruction
tailored to meet the unique needs of students with autism spectrum
disorder. Location: Peyton, CO Responsibilities: Provide
individualized and group instruction to students with autism in
junior high and high school settings. Develop and implement IEPs
(Individualized Education Programs) in collaboration with
multidisciplinary teams. Utilize autism-specific teaching
strategies and behavioral interventions. Monitor student progress
and adjust instructional methods accordingly. Collaborate with
general education teachers, support staff, and families to promote
student success. Maintain accurate documentation and records
related to student performance and interventions. Qualifications:
Valid teaching certification in Special Education. Experience
working with students with autism spectrum disorder. Strong
knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best
practices. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to create supportive, structured learning environments.
