Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. A full-time Special Education Teacher opportunity is
available for a junior high school setting in Monument, NM. This
contract position runs from ASAP through May 22nd, 2026, supporting
students in a middle school environment. The role requires a
dedicated educator with a focus on special education who can
deliver tailored instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
Key Qualifications: NM Special Education Certification Teaching
credential is mandatory Experience working with junior high/middle
school students is highly valued Strong understanding of
individualized education programs (IEPs) and differentiated
instruction techniques Responsibilities: Develop and implement
individualized lesson plans that accommodate student needs and
abilities Collaborate with general education teachers, support
staff, and families to enhance student learning and social
development Monitor and assess student progress, maintaining
accurate documentation and reporting results Foster a supportive
and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student
engagement and growth Participate in professional development
