(ASL) Interpreting, certified ASL Interpreter credentials, and 1
year of experience as an ASL Interpreter in educational settings.
Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be
considered. A Sign Language Interpreter position is available to
support communication within an educational setting. Based in
Littleton, CO, this role involves providing interpretation services
to facilitate effective interaction between deaf or hard-of-hearing
students and educators. The position requires occasional travel
within the local area to various school sites. Key
Responsibilities: Interpret spoken language into American Sign
Language (ASL) and vice versa during classroom instruction and
school events Ensure clear and accurate communication between
students, teachers, and staff Assist in promoting an inclusive
learning environment for deaf or hard-of-hearing students
Collaborate with educational staff to support student needs and
participation Desired Qualifications: Proficiency in American Sign
Language Experience as an interpreter in educational settings
preferred Strong understanding of deaf culture and communication
needs Flexibility to travel within the local school district area
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Location:
Littleton, Colorado with travel to local schools as required This
