(ACAND)-Brighton, CO FLSA Status: Part-time, Non-Exempt Reports to:
Dean of Student Services Work Hours/Days: 10 hours per week during
school hours; additional participation in some training events is
also required Compensation Range: $45-60 hourly Position Overview:

help train the minds and improve the hearts of young people through
a classical, content-rich education? We are looking for a School
Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our Student Services
department. As a member of the department for a growing classical
charter school, the OT will have a strong background in best
practices for school occupational therapy, including an
understanding of assessment, IEP tracking and reporting
requirements. We are looking for someone with high standards of
excellence, a professional demeanor, and a collaborative spirit to
join our team and help us build for the future. The ideal candidate
will be a results-driven team player with the capacity to manage
multiple projects and thrive in a dynamic environment. This is an
on-site position based in our school. Essential Functions: Conduct
occupational therapy assessments and interpret results to support
student learning Participate in IEP meetings, MTSS meetings, and
other staff or department meetings as needed Provide direct and
consultative therapeutic services to students in individual or
group settings, per IEP requirements. Create goals and objectives
for students to work toward and identify areas of progress and
challenges. Collaborate with other teachers and staff to design and
implement appropriate interventions and accommodations for
students. Maintain student records and submit information/records,
including student progress, as needed to support students and
adhere to IEP regulations. Maintain academic integrity and mission
alignment in modifications and accommodations for students in
specialized programming Maintain regular, punctual attendance
Maintain professional appearance and adhere to relevant health and
safety procedures Complete all required training and provide
documentation as well as official college transcripts within 90
days of hire date Demonstrate consistent and reliable attendance by
adhering to assigned work hours, reporting on time, and following
proper procedures for absences or tardiness to ensure minimal
disruption to students, colleagues, and school operations
Demonstrate proficiency in both written and spoken English to
effectively perform their job responsibilities and communicate in
the workplace Perform other duties as assigned Required
Skills/Abilities: Master's Degree or higher Current Colorado
licensure with appropriate endorsement for Occupational Therapy
(see Colorado Department of Education requirements) Commitment to
classical education and to the high moral character necessary to
sustain ordered liberty and constitutional self-government Ability
to develop positive and professional relationships with team
members Adherence to all ACAND policies Physical Requirements: Must
be able to lift up to 15 pounds Must be able to traverse the
classroom and the school Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk,
working on a computer Must be able to supervise outdoor duties
