Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in a K-8
educational setting serving diverse student needs. This contract
position is ideal for candidates who hold current SLP credentials
and are passionate about delivering individualized speech and
language support to students across varying levels of ability.
Location: - Longmont, Colorado area - Educational site serving
grades K-8 with approximately 50 students on caseload (36 mild to
moderate needs, 14 moderate to severe needs) Job Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language evaluations and therapy
services tailored to each students goals - Develop, implement, and
monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with
teachers, parents, and other professionals - Utilize evidence-based
strategies to address communication disorders affecting academic
performance and social interactions - Maintain accurate
documentation and compliance with district and state regulations,
including CDE requirements for Speech-Language Pathologists -
Participate actively in team meetings and professional development
opportunities Qualifications: - Current Certificate of Clinical
Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology - Colorado Department
of Education (CDE) certification for SLPs required - Experience
working with K-8 students in a school setting, including handling a
diverse caseload ranging from mild/moderate to moderate/severe
support needs - Strong communication, organizational, and
collaborative skills - Commitment to student-centered service
