This contract opportunity in Aurora, CO, is ideal for paraprofessionals with a background in school classrooms, particularly those who have worked with significant or severe caseloads. Assigned positions range from middle to high school levels, providing diverse opportunities to make a meaningful impact on student success. Key Responsibilities: - Support classroom instruction and student learning under teacher supervision. - Assist with toileting and diapering as needed. - Adapt to assignment changes, which may involve working at different school sites and with various age groups. - Maintain punctuality, reporting to work by 7:40am for elementary or 8:00am for middle/high school. - Comply with immediate fingerprinting requirements following offer acceptance; any criminal charges will result in automatic disqualification. Qualifications and Experience: - Minimum of 1 year of experience working in school classrooms. - Experience supporting students with significant or severe needs is strongly preferred. - Reliable personal transportation is essential; public or ride-sharing services are not acceptable. - Ability to maintain flexibility concerning site assignment and student age groups. - Must provide two completed Professional RefAssured references at applicationno exceptions. - Candidates must meet a compensation cap of $25 or below.
