Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. Located in the Denver area, this full-time special
education contract position offers an opportunity to support
diverse learners across multiple schools within a K-12 setting.
Assignments include roles such as Affective Needs Teacher, Learning
Specialist, and Significant Support Needs (SSN) Teacher that focus
on students with a wide range of exceptionalities, from
social-emotional challenges to significant cognitive disabilities.
Responsibilities: Provide specialized instruction tailored to
students with affective, learning, and significant cognitive
support needs. Develop and implement Individualized Education
Programs (IEPs) in compliance with Colorado Department of Education
(CO DOE) guidelines. Collaborate with school teams and families to
support student progress and inclusion. Monitor and document
student development, adjusting instructional strategies as
necessary. Serve students across elementary, middle, and upper
grade levels during the school day. Desired Qualifications and
Experience: Active Colorado DOE Special Education Certification.
Experience working with diverse special education populations,
ideally within an educational setting serving K-12 students. Strong
collaboration and communication skills to partner effectively with
multidisciplinary teams. Flexibility to serve multiple schools and
adapt to varied caseloads. Previous experience coaching or
supporting students with affective needs, learning differences, and
significant cognitive impairments is preferred. Location: Denver,
CO area Contract Duration: Immediate start through end of school
year, with some locations beginning January 2026 Hours: Full-Time
(35 hours per week) This position is ideal for educators passionate
