Peer Recovery Coach (Job ID: 12267)Job SummaryThe Peer Recovery
Coach will work closely with opioid treatment providers (OTP), and
other community-based organizations, to help people in need of
treatment and support services get connected to available resources
within their communities. The Peer Recovery Coach will build
relationships with hospitals, community opiate strategy work
groups, treatment providers, harm reduction organizations,
supportive housing agencies and law enforcement to educate each
about the availability of treatment and to support effective
linkage to services. The peer recovery coach will work to serve as
a connection between the people in the community in need of
treatment, providers, and support services equipped to support
individuals in recovery.
