Lockheed Martin is seeking a talented Principal Software Engineer
to support Missile Defense Space Warning Tool product line of the
DE Task Order on the Specialized Warfighter Development Contract
(SWDC) program at Schriever SFB, Colorado.
In this role you will will design, develop, test, document and
integrate simulation products using C# on Windows operating
systems.
Provide software engineering, technical, and managerial direction
for problem definition, analysis, requirement development and
implementation for complex systems in the engineering discipline
required to meet technical requirements.
Make recommendations and advise on system development,
improvements, optimization, or support efforts.
Perform risk assessments and analysis employing modeling and
simulation techniques.
Basic Qualifications:
*Must be able to obtain an Interim DoD Secret Security Clearance
prior to starting this position*
--- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from an accredited
college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined
education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of
professional experience with a related Master's degree
--- Must have experience in all phases of software development,
including analysis, design, code, test and integration
--- Must be able to program in C#, with experience in multithreaded
applications, have a strong understanding of object-oriented
software development, and have a working knowledge of Windows
--- Must have strong written, verbal, and presentation
communication skills
Desired Skills:
--- Design skills to include the use of UML or similar modeling
language, and tools such as Enterprise Architect or Rational
Rose
--- Able to work both independently and in a team environment and
possess strong written and verbal communication skills
--- Currently hold a DoD Secret Security Clearance
--- Experience in engineering M&S systems using an optimistic
and/or conservative discrete event simulation platform
--- Experience in agile software development methodologies like
Scrum
--- Experience with JIRA and GIT
Knowledge/experience in several of the following:
missile defense domain knowledge, command and control, and modeling
and simulation development
