Job Description:

Cargill is seeking a skilled Utilities Mechanic to join our Food & Beverage Operations team. This role is critical in maintaining and enhancing our utilities systems, which are essential to our mission of nourishing and sustaining the global community. As a Utilities Mechanic, you will operate and maintain the equipment within our Utilities Control Center, ensuring efficient and uninterrupted operations. Your technical expertise will contribute directly to the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of our operations. Operate and monitor utilities systems including water treatment, HVAC, and energy supply. Perform routine and emergency maintenance on all utilities equipment to ensure operational efficiency. Diagnose mechanical issues and provide timely solutions to minimize downtime. Collaborate with other team members to implement continuous improvement projects. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards. Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, repairs, and system performances. Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills Proficiency in using tools and equipment required for utilities maintenance Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals Strong communication and teamwork abilities Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certification in HVAC, electrical, or other relevant fields is highly beneficial Relevant safety training and certifications (e.g., OSHA 30 Hour)
