Job Description Job Description Job Title: Crane Technician Job Description As a Crane Technician, you will be responsible for the repair and preventative maintenance of overhead cranes and hoists. You will utilize your industry knowledge, schematic reading skills, and troubleshooting expertise to address and resolve equipment issues efficiently. Your role will also involve reading wiring diagrams, working with high voltage electricity, and delivering exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction. Responsibilities Perform repair and preventative maintenance on overhead cranes and hoists. Troubleshoot equipment issues using industry knowledge and schematics. Read wiring diagrams and work with high voltage electricity. Provide exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction. Essential Skills Proficiency in crane and hydraulic pneumatic systems. Experience with machine installation and overhead crane operations. Strong electrical skills, including crane inspection and service. 2-3 years of industrial service and repair of overhead cranes and hoists. 2-3 years of electrical theory related to power and controls. Must own a personal set of tools including end wrenches, socket set, amp meter, and multi-meter. Comfortable working at heights, climbing ladders, using lifts, and working in elevated positions. Ability to lift up to 70 pounds. Why Work Here? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $62400.00/yr. We match 6 % up to 500 dollars and once a year a percentage of the company's profits Employees will get 2 weeks (80 hours) PTO after 60 days with Brehob and at 6 months they will receive an additional floating holiday We do annual raises in June every year. There are also times where a special merritt raise is given if an employee is promoted or anything similar. Workplace Type This is a fully onsite position in Louisville,KY.
