JOB OVERVIEW:The Social Media Manager role is structured as an account management role within the Social Media team. This person will be meticulous, have strong attention to detail, and be able to follow and uphold processes to ensure quality output across all clients. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in paid social media publishing and campaign management within a fast-paced agency setting.In addition, a passion for behavior change and social responsibility is a must.--DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCEBachelor's degree in marketing, public relations, communication, business management or related field3-4 years of experience within an advertising agency, digital agency, or public relations agencyExtensive experience in social media paid advertising, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, YouTube, Vimeo, LinkedIn,Excellent writing and grammatical skillsExcellent interpersonal communication skills with the ability to work across various teamsStrong organizational skills and ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines--RESPONSIBILITIES:Assist in the management of day-to-day social media campaigns across all clientsManage campaign reporting trackers, analyze and report on campaign performance across all clients and campaignsManage campaign budgets and monthly client invoicingOwn daily/weekly hotlist and timelines for social media team (ensure team is clear on key campaign dates and to do's)Assist in the development of social media briefs, campaign recap reports, media plans and new business pitchesAssist Social Media Coordinator to troubleshoot ad errors, reporting discrepancies, and delivery issues, communicate with account services team when issues occur with updated timelines and recommendationsConduct analysis of social media data across multiple campaigns and platforms, providing client-facing recommendations on campaign optimizationSupport creative team in providing ad specs, content direction and best practicesAssist in the development of social media strategiesIdentify opportunities to improve campaign performance, including analysis on creative and ad placement performanceMonitor social media trends and interpret impact on audience behavioral shifts relevant to client business; relate changes to appropriate account team members, and provide insights and recommendationsResearch the latest social media trends to keep our agency ahead of digital trends, assist in the development of the agency's monthly social media trend reportManage projects, process, and people (mentor junior staff and interns)Manage relationships with reps, vendors and media partnersOther reasonable duties as assigned--KEY QUALIFICATIONS:The ideal candidate is highly organized with strong attention to detail who thrives in an energetic, fast-paced entrepreneurial environmentExperience publishing paid ads on Facebook/Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest, Snapchat, Vimeo and YouTubeExperience with Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, DCM, Push Spring, and Sprout Social, or other social media management and data audience toolsStrong analytical skills; someone who thrives in an energetic, fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.--In addition, the candidate should have:Strong analytical skills; must be proficient in analyzing and interpreting social-related dataExperience with real-time listening for real-time engagement (using tools like Pulsar, Nuvi, Radian6, etc.)Experience with web analytics packages such as Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, etcSkilled user of Google Business Suite tools and Google AnalyticsUnderstand client's business requirements, and design reporting and analysis approaches tailored toAbility to quickly pattern spot and surface actionable insights;--separate signal from noise.Experience distilling complex data into simple KPIs and data visualizations / dashboards / scorecardsExperience writing clear and concise presentations for client summarizing data insights, outcomes and implications in a straightforward and enlightening way for clients.Ability to collaborate and work well with others.Ability to contribute to and recommend increasing levels of innovation in data and analytics.Demonstrated ability to effectively develop and execute detailed, efficient and innovative paid social media campaignsBasic Knowledge of Extensive experience using Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Snapchat advertising. Pinterest advertising knowledge a plus, along with social media management tools like Sprout Social and Planable. Experience with project management tools like Basecamp and FunctionPoint are a bonus.Knowledge of social media best practices as well as advertising creative processAgency experience and/or experience working with multiple accounts simultaneouslyExperience managing budgets of $30,000 and upAbility to manage daily workload and meet concurrent deadlines on multiple projects with strong attention to detail--Am--lie Company offers a competitive salary, benefits and an exceptional work environment.
