  • Prepare, edit, and maintain financial reporting production schedules for internal departments and clients, ensuring adherence by all parties
  • Review Financial Reporting staff-prepared workpapers (and/or prepare workpapers) supporting mutual fund financial statements and various forms and filings with regulatory agencies
  • Act as a second chair in supervising while performing a variety of activities related to financial/regulatory reporting projects and analyses, such as Forms N-CSR, N-PX, N-MFP, N-PORT, N-CEN, PF, PQR, and 24f-2.
  • Support the Management Team in reinforcing leadership and direction for across the team.
  • Work alongside the Management Team to help in the development staff to maximize their potential.
  • Provide guidance, direction and training to new and current Financial Reporting staff
  • Provide feedback to supervisors concerning the performance of Financial Reporting staff for inclusion in Financial Reporting staff performance appraisals
  • Complete department tracking and reporting
  • Coordinate and follow up on projects and process improvements.
  • Interact with external auditors
  • Collect, analyze and execute comments from internal and client reviews
  • Research and resolve complex problems
  • Partner with the Management Team in establishing department policies, procedures and timelines
  • Make recommendations for improvements to department processes and procedures

    • Compliance Culture and Conduct Minimum Required Qualifications
      • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent
      • Two to Four years of mutual fund reporting experience
      • Strong knowledge of mutual fund industry and mutual fund accounting and reporting
      • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
      • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
      • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects
      • Strong verbal and written communication skills
      • Strong computer skills including MS Word and Excel Compensation and Benefits:
        • The salary range for this position is, $62,000-$75,000 commensurate with experience, qualification, and performance. -- Compensation can also vary based on other factors, such as cost of living.
        • This position is eligible for an annual discretionary performance bonus
