Job Description:

The Media Coordinator is an essential role at the heart of BiggerPockets' growing network of podcast and video channels. The focus for this role will be video production management, but the Coordinator needs to integrate and optimize workstreams across formats, including podcasts, social media, blogs, marketing communications, and more.The Media Coordinator is responsible for project management, production and post-production management, scheduling, as well as coordinating freelancers and remote staff. Project-management experience and contributor-management experience are key to success in this role. You will be working with Youtube content creators, podcast hosts, book authors, video editors, as well as bloggers, social media managers, and marketing partners. Hyper-organized, disciplined managers with high levels of customer service should apply! Individuals from diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply.In this role, you will: Use Project Management tools to build production schedules Coordinate projects with Youtube content creators, creating clear workflows for development, pre-production, ingestion, post-production, and uploads Integrate schedules and workflows with social media, marketing, and editorial teams Assist General Manager with coordination and administration of talent agreements Provide concierge levels of service to freelance content creators Research and implement solutions for operational blockers, such as file transfer tools to streamline video ingestion Problem-solving in a fast-paced environment Show your passion for working with creative professionals in a collaborative environment Communicate and document: ensuring all BiggerPockets teams are informed and aligned, providing written updates and briefs to leadership on a timely basis, maintaining databases and project-management software, and updating calendars constantly Assist with all other Media, Content, Social Media, and Marketing responsibilities as needed Build templates and systems for Youtube releases, including copy, metadata research, marketing CTA's, subject lines, thumbnails, and more Assist with Youtube uploads and posts as needed Manage content creators and video editors (non staff) on a routine basis Assist with talent payment processes and reimbursements Be available and responsive to General Manager during core hours and occasionally outside of them, as rare media crises arise Skills & experience needed for this role: Excellent time-management and project-management skills Excellent customer-service skills as it relates to freelancers and remote contributors Ability to direct and influence a wide range of collaborators Ability to write project briefs and requirements Ability to use project management software such as Click Up, AirTable, and others Working knowledge of content production, whether video, audio, editorial, or marketing creative Desire and ability to stay up to date on news and trends in video channels, including Youtube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and more Associates Degree or high-level of education preferred 3+ years experience in similar environments, managing concurrent projects and 10+ contributors or partners Compensation:Salary range: $55,000-65,000 + 10% annual bonus potential The base salary range depends on years of relevant experience and skill set.// Other: Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Moving equipment for production and videos is regularly required. Travel: Minimal travel is required for this position Position Type and Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position. Days and Core Hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Please note this is still a full-time position and you are expected to work a normal 40-hour work week. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
