Seeking a Content Designer a.k.a. UX Writer, Content Strategist, Product Writer
We're looking for more than just a copywriter: we seek a wordsmith who also possesses strong UX design sensibilities and experience writing and editing content for digital products across all platforms (web, mobile, tablet, TV, wearables, kiosks, etc.). We produce mobile apps, set-top box apps (Roku, etc.), responsive websites, interactive program guides and much more, and we need a strong UX writer who can craft in-product, cross-platform messaging that helps our customers do the things they want and need to do. Think of task-based online user flows like paying a bill, signing in to a bank account, booking a plane ticket, doing your taxes, etc. and all the content that goes along with them (page and navigation titles, instructional copy, form field labels, error messages, confirmation messages, tool tips, and so on). That's the type of "content design" that we do.
Responsibilities and Qualifications:--- Contribute to the user experience of a product by crafting content to fit product needs (product copy, instructional text, UI labels, error messaging, marketing copy, etc.).--- Understand design thinking and user experience design best practices; in particular, understand the difference between copywriting and content design.--- Help ensure consistent cross-product messaging across all digital channels (web, mobile, TV, wearables, print, voice).--- Create copy that works as part of a UX/UI design solution that is engaging and effective to help achieve business goals.--- Collaborate with product managers, designers and developers to understand-and write content that meets-business and technical requirements.--- Create and/or adhere to voice/tone/style/brand content guidelines.--- Accept editorial feedback from stakeholders/peers and be great at incorporating it into your work. (And be able to offer design feedback to UX/UI designer-peers where appropriate.)--- Possess a solid command of the English language (grammar, spelling and vocabulary) and strong attention to detail.

• --- Be a team-focused, collaborative person who works (and plays) well with others. Please be prepared to share portfolio samples that demonstrate UX/product writing, not simply ad copy or web/marketing copywriting.
