Working as part of the Denver-based Marketing team within the Workplace Division, this position reports to the Chief Marketing Officer and can be managed from a remote location. What You Need to Do: The position of Senior Director of Participant Engagement & Communications is accountable for designing, developing and deploying integrated educational content and communications across a wide variety of digital platforms, ensuring the clear navigation and driving engagement and adoption of the retirement plan among our plan participants. What You Will Learn: You will be working with a team of ambitious and engaged professionals who bring fresh ideas and diverse perspectives to help us shake up the status quo and stay on the forefront of reinventing how our Workplace products and services can profoundly impact the behaviors and outcomes of our customers. What Success Looks Like: This individual will work with stakeholders and team members to continuously improve automation and reporting capabilities, increase personalization, and maximize engagement. Leverage marketing tech stack and team resources to design/implement journeys and triggered messages driven by actions, behaviors, and audience segmentation insights.
    • Lead and develop a team of marketing and communications professionals in control of retirement plan participant communications that link participants to an ecosystem of tools, resources, guidance, and advice.
    • Partner with leadership in Retirement Plan Distribution, Relationship Management, Advice Center (Retail IRA & Insurance), Education & Planning Services, Operations, and technology to optimize participant engagement strategies and deliver communications programs that maximize plan sponsor satisfaction, participant financial wellness and retirement readiness, and profitability.
    • Responsible for 4 key verticals:
    • The Dedicated Communications team is accountable for working with Transamerica's largest plan sponsors to deliver custom communications plans that meet the unique needs of their plan participants.
    • Core Communications is responsible for Transamerica's foundational communications program, OnTrack--- - an automated email program designed to connect participants to financial wellness education, resources, and tools to achieve a fully funded retirement.
    • The Education & Managed Advice Communications team supports the development and delivery of educational presentations, webinars, and outreach conducted by Transamerica's Retirement Planning Consultants, and the development of campaigns to encourage utilization of Transamerica's in-plan advisory service, Managed Advice.
    • Advice Center Marketing is responsible for generating awareness and engagement with Transamerica's advice services, including in-plan asset consolidation, retirement transition services, and retail IRA and Insurance solutions. What You Need:
      • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, advertising or related field, or equivalent experience
      • Ten years of experience in marketing, including planning, creating and executing customer-centered design, including three years in a management role
      • Seven years of retirement channel/field marketing experience
      • Ability to plan and strategize at a senior level
      • Experience helping to build consensus and drive partnership across disparate stakeholder groups
      • Persuasive and confident approach to creative projects
      • Analytical and creative problem-solving skills
      • Change management skills and the ability to set priorities around constant change
      • Self-starter able to manage, train and mentor others What's Nice to Have:
        • Experience working in Large/Enterprise level organizations
        • Frequent travel (up to 30%) to meet with key stakeholders and visits to regional offices **Please note that the compensation information that follows is a good faith estimate for this position only and is provided pursuant to the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act and Equal Pay Transparency Rules. It is estimated based on what a successful Colorado applicant might be paid. It assumes that the successful candidate will be in Colorado or perform the position from Colorado. Similar positions located outside of Colorado will not necessarily receive the same compensation. ** Compensation: The salary for this position generally ranges between $140,000 - $200,000. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications, operational needs and other considerations permitted by law. The range may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Rule 4.1.2. Bonus Eligibility: This position is also typically eligible for an annual bonus based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance and is at Company Discretion at a rate of 25%.
