Job Description:

Digital Marketing Specialist - Job Description--The Digital Marketing Specialist will own the email and SMS channel, including creative development, execution, and analysis to drive short and long term KPIs, as well as limited organic SERP rank strategy. You will help develop a contact content strategy that drives targeted qualified traffic and guide visitors through the sales funnel.The ideal Digital Marketing Specialist is skilled in creating automated email campaigns using conditional and triggered based filters and is interested in learning diverse skillset from planning through to post-campaign analysis. They will focus on customer retention and consumer engagement, helping to develop and deploy an omnichannel strategy and execution around email, SMS push notifications.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and deploy omnichannel digital marketing plans to drive customer awareness for new content, company announcements, and product launches.Own and drive the email/SMS marketing strategy and execution to maximize revenue in both channels. Focused on previous buyers and early consideration stage buyers.Prepare, analyze, and present monthly channel and audience level reporting based on KPIsAnalyze campaign data & optimize towards maximum performance and ROI on a daily basis.Work cross-departmentally with but not limited to Growth, Brand, Creative, Ops, and Development teams to ensure all content and strategy align with oVertone's goals.--Email & SMS StrategyManage and execute email communications for member retention (automated flows, ad-hoc campaigns, etc.), in addition to site messaging, SMS, CRM and moreExecute and guide campaigns through their entire life-cycle - planning, implementation, measurement monitoring, optimization, (rinse and repeat)Manage email list segmentationImplement a rigorous testing cadence, developing tests for both mobile and desktop environmentsCreate custom reports for email performance for use at the executive levelManage the scheduling and implementation touchpoints of all email campaignsStay current on email marketing best practices and share learnings and insights regularly with the broader marketing teamMaintain constant, transparent, open and proactive communication with internal and external teamsDesign, build and launch acquisition and retention email marketing campaigns to drive conversion and maximize customer LTVSchedule all emails, selecting the right audience and segmenting for the right message every time and generating all promo codes for the email channelDrive AB testing and optimizations on the website to drive conversionsUnderstand how to measure, analyze and incorporate the use of behavioral data for optimizing email send and campaign performance to meet goalsSEO StrategyMonitor and manage the overall SEO using multiple touchpoints and tracking options to track the overall health of the domain including indexation errors, crawling issues, internal linking, redirects, server response codes, sitemap issues, domain warnings, etc.Proactively analyze and review site content, recommend modifications and scale optimizations across the domainCompile research, articulate POVs for stakeholders to share pertinent information and insights----Analytics & ReportingPartner with the VP of Marketing to ensure our customer cohorts are being nurtured and activated based on varying acquisition sources, supporting the long-term health of our customer baseMonitor metrics and analytics of campaigns to garner insights on consumer behavior to drive actionable next stepsAnalyze and communicate results on a monthly basis, including KPIs, and apply learnings to continually improve resultsUse data to deliver insightful and actionable reports to optimize personalization and segmentation strategies that connect with customers in an innovative way, with a focus on identifying key growth opportunitiesQualifications4+ years of full-cycle email marketing experienceGoogle Analytics certification is a plusHubspot certification is a plusHTML + CSS - ability to edit pre-existing code--Experience working with a project management system (Asana, Jira, etc.) and social media management listening tool.--Confident in list management, deliverability, and segmentation StrategiesWell versed in Klaviyo, Marketo or other ESP platformsSelf-starter who is highly detail and process-oriented, capable of building and managing multiple campaigns and the ability to prioritize work to tight deadlines while working independently in a fast-paced change-oriented environmentA keen eye for detail and qualityWelcomes constructive criticism with an open mind, always seeking to improve workDemonstrated ability to execute projects on time and to work collaboratively in a team environmentMust have a positive can-do attitude, with a genuine, reliable and kind dispositionMust be professional team-player, flexible, positive, engaged, responsible, creative and willing to continually learn, and be seen as a leader on the creative teamMust have strong and concise verbal and written communication skillsMust be organized and highly detail-oriented, double-checking work with unprompted follow-throughPhysical Requirements:Continuously required to sit/standRegularly required to walk, bend, stoop, push/pull, and reach above
