The Role
Palantir's dynamic in-house legal team works to proactively address legal issues so that Palantir can continue to drive positive impact in the world. Legal Operations is the organizational backbone of the legal team at Palantir. Legal Operations is a mission-focused team that strives to support and execute on critical initiatives across the legal team.
As an Administrative Assistant, you will be involved in a wide variety of centralized functions that support the legal team including but not limited to document administration, team-wide calendaring, event and in-office coordination, legal vendor management and targeted project assistance. You will be directly supporting multiple attorneys located within your office/region and providing ad-hoc support to the in-office legal team and work closely with a team of other legal administrative assistants within Legal Operations.
Throughout your work, you take initiative, operate with resourcefulness, and execute quickly and effectively. You enjoy helping others and can think three steps ahead to anticipate any additional needs. You are impeccably organized, excellent at time management, and extremely detail oriented. You have excellent written and verbal communication skills and are passionate about building trust with other members of the team through reliable and consistent bias towards action. Most importantly, you have a true desire to be helpful and go above and beyond to solve challenges.
Core Responsibilities

  • Execute administrative workflows, processes and procedures, looking for ways to continuously improve and drive efficiency.
  • Legal document processing, including drafting, formatting, finalizing, and filing.
  • Create and maintain trackers for legal documents and resources.
  • Provide targeted support for ad hoc legal projects.
  • Build cross-functional relationships between departments.
  • Team scheduling, including event planning and budget management.
  • Coordinate international and domestic travel.
  • Team expense and legal vendor on-boarding management.

        The starting salary for this position is estimated to be $60,000 year. Total compensation includes approximately $5,000/year of equity compensation in the form of Restricted Stock Units, based on the recent value of the company's stock at the time of grant. Further note that total compensation for this position will be determined by candidate's relevant qualifications, work experience, skills, and other factors. This estimate excludes the value of any potential sign-on bonus; the value of any benefits offered; and the potential future value of any long-term incentives.
